YONG cautioned the People of Sabah against Peninsula-based opposition parties that purportedly fight for Sabah's autonomy.
"These Malayan Parties have no qualification or right to talk about or claim to be fighting for autonomy for Sabah because they all came from across the South China Sea.
Referring to DAP's claim that they, too, were fighting for Sabah's autonomy, he said DAP is "playing fire-works in the daytime" or simply blatantly bluffing.
Just like peninsula-based Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties, he said Sabah DAP also receives instructions from its political master in Kuala Lumpur.
He said the manifesto of Sabah's DAP promised to abolish the 7.5 per cent of sales tax worth RM1 billion on crude palm oil (CPO) if it were to form the next government.
However, he said the plan would ultimately benefit between 80 per cent and 90 per cent peninsula-based major oil palm companies, including Felda. He also described Sabah DAP as a loose set-up with poor organisation.
"No organisation, no leadership, no plan. It’s only a brand but no stocks. But SAPP not only has a brand, we also have good teamwork, efficient organisation, political culture and many capable leaders at various levels.
" We also have viable plans which are based on our knowledge and experieuce of how the government works," he said.
Stressing that Sabahans are capable of administering the State and to decide their own fate, he urged them to have faith in themselves.
"Others can look down on us, but we should not look down on ourselves. We must always safeguard our dignity as Sabahans,” he said.
In the meal time, Yong reiterated SAPP's intention to contest at least 40 state seats in the coming general election, in order for it to form the next State Government.
SAPP Information Chief cum Kepayan CLC Chairman, Chong Pit Fah likened the party's fight for autonomy for Sabah to a houseowner exercising his right to protect his property against intruders.
As a thoroughbred Sabah political party, he said SAPP has the absolute right to contest in any constituency in Sabah that it chooses to contest.
“ We are merely exercising our right as the rightful house or landowners."
On the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) scheme, he urged the people to take whatever goodies distributed by the BN Government, but to vote for SAPP in the election. He said the BR1M scheme is just a form of vote buying exercise by BN.

Apakah motif SAPP sebenarnya?
ReplyDeletemaking a whole new level of 'screw up' for the opposition front.
DeleteIt's gonna be an easy win for BN!
DeleteSAPP ni pun dilihat tiada pendirian.
