SAPP Chinese New Year open house Jan 24

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) will be holding a Chinese New Year open house on January 24, the,second day of Chinese New Year, from 10am to 1pm, at Kian Kok Middle School here. 

SAPP deputy President Datuk Liew Teck Chan said there would be dragon, unicorn and lion dance performances as entertainment, while guests could enjoy the food prepared.

Children at the venue will also receive ang pows at the event.

“This year we have added video clip presentations as well as, Chinese New Year songs, and attractive cultural dance performances.

“Our Party President Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee and Datin Stilla Yong will lead the leaders of our Party in welcoming the public and guests to celebrate the festive season with us," Liew said in a Press conference here.

Similar,Chinese New Year programmes would also be held in Tawau, Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Kudat, he added.

Liew also welcomes members from the opposition Parties and Barisan Nasional to join in the event.
