TAWAU: The meber of parliament here, Datuk Chua Soon Bui, has conveyed the complaints of the recent break-in and rape cases in the district to the Deputy Home Affairs Minister.
Chua said parents were worried that the social safety net in Tawau had been broken following reports of break-in and rapes cases by the newspapers recently.
“I received many calls and complaints from parents while attending the parliament and I was shocked to hear their complaints,” she said yesterday.
Chua said she had talked to Deputy Home Affairs Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman bin Hj Yusof on the rampant cases of Yosop on the rampant cases of house break-in and the raping of woman and children.
“We can’t allow this to continue to happen, especially in Tawau. I want the ministry to tackle the problem immediately with special remedy and actions, and must declare war against all these elements to protect innocents’lives from rapists and murderers,” she said.

Pihak polis perlulah memberi perhatian terhadap masalah pecah rumah dan kes rogol di Tawau ini. Pastikan kes-kes ini mampu dikurangkan.
